Privacy Policy | TribalShaping Guild Name Generator

How TribalShaping handles browser-only naming inputs, optional saved favorites, hosting logs, email, and future advertising consent.

By Armindo · AI-assisted editorialUpdated October 23, 2026

Effective October 23, 2026. This policy explains the launch version of TribalShaping and separates its current data practices from any advertising that might be introduced later.

Who operates the site

TribalShaping.com is operated by Armindo. You can contact the operator about this policy or your information at scharrarmindo@gmail.com, or by post at Room 1104, Tower B, Yingyue International, Jinye Road, Yanta District, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China. References to “we” and “our” mean this independent website operation. The policy covers the English and Japanese editions, naming tools, editorial pages, and email that you choose to send about the site.

The site is designed to work without an account. We do not ask for your real name, date of birth, game login, telephone number, payment information, or guild membership list to generate a name. You should avoid entering personal or confidential material into a naming field, even though the generator works locally.

Your naming choices stay in the browser

Tool selections, optional words, and generated candidates are processed in the current browser using the vocabulary and rules delivered with the page. They are not submitted to an application server or sent to a live AI provider. Form state is held in memory and may be lost when you reload or close the page. If you explicitly choose Share Brief, the selected brief settings, including any included words, are encoded into the URL fragment. The application does not send that fragment to the hosting server. Anyone with the full link can read its included settings, so inspect it before sharing and do not include private information.

The explanations shown beside a generated name come from prepared editorial material and local composition rules. We do not use those inputs to train a model, create an advertising audience, or build a remote profile of your guild. Copying a result uses your device’s clipboard only after your action; what happens to copied material in another application is controlled by that application.

Optional favorites and local preferences

If you opt in to saving favorites, the selected names are stored in localStorage for this website on this browser. An optional preference setting may likewise remember a site choice locally after you enable it. LocalStorage is a browser storage mechanism rather than an account or cloud backup. We do not receive a copy of that saved collection through the launch application.

A separate comparison shortlist uses sessionStorage only after you explicitly select Compare. It keeps the selected candidates within the browser tab’s session rather than in a remote account. It can survive a page reload in that tab, but expires when the tab or browser session ends according to your browser’s session handling. Browser session restoration can affect that lifetime. You can remove comparison entries through the available controls or clear the site’s browser data.

At the main website entrance, the application reads the preferred language exposed by your browser to choose English or Japanese. This check runs on your device; the language selection feature does not send the preference to us or a third-party language or IP lookup service, request location permission, or create a tracking identifier. When you manually switch languages, sessionStorage can remember that choice for the current tab, together with an English-or-Japanese default indicator. Explicit English and Japanese page addresses remain directly accessible. If your language is unsupported, English is the fallback.

Optional saved information can remain until you remove it using the site’s available controls or clear this website’s data in your browser. It does not automatically move to another device. Other people who use the same browser profile may see it. Private browsing, browser cleanup, blocked storage, or a device reset can make saved names unavailable. Keep a separate copy of a shortlist that matters to you.

You may decline optional local storage and still use the core name generator. If you withdraw permission, remove the relevant saved data and disable optional saving through the available controls. Clearing website data in browser settings provides a further way to remove local records. Our preference controls concern this site’s local features; they are not a Google-certified consent management platform and do not obtain valid advertising consent on their own.

What a hosting service can receive

Loading any public website requires communication with the service that hosts and delivers its files. That service may receive technical request information such as your IP address, requested path, time, browser information, and response status, and may keep standard access or security logs. These technical requests are different from the contents of the naming form, which the launch application does not upload.

The preview is delivered through the OpenAI Sites provider with integrated Cloudflare infrastructure. The final hosting choice for the intended TribalShaping.com public website has not been confirmed; the stated domain is not a claim that public deployment is complete. Exact log retention periods and processing locations for the delivery services have not been established here, so we do not promise invented details. The operator must review the configured provider information and update this policy as needed before or when public hosting changes. For questions about a particular visit, email the page address and approximate time; avoid sending a full browsing history. We will explain what can reasonably be checked with the relevant provider.

Messages you choose to send

Contact links use email. Selecting one opens your own email client; it does not send a message automatically. If you send a message, we receive its contents, your email address, any name you include, attachments, and technical information provided by the email service. We use that information to answer you, investigate a report, manage a rights request, or maintain necessary correspondence records.

Please keep messages focused on the issue and remove unnecessary personal details from screenshots or attachments. We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the matter and any applicable recordkeeping or dispute needs. There is no universal fixed period for every message. You may ask us to delete correspondence; we will consider applicable duties, legitimate remaining needs, and the information that can actually be located. Mail providers may retain backup or security records under their own policies.

Current tracking and advertising status

At launch, TribalShaping does not load analytics tags, advertising scripts, social tracking pixels, or a live chatbot. It does not operate user accounts, subscriptions, purchases, or a newsletter. We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use naming inputs for targeted advertising. We do not infer sensitive characteristics from your selections.

We may consider advertising in the future, including Google AdSense. It is not active in this launch version. Before introducing it, the operator must configure an actual publisher account, review the relevant partners and data flows, revise the disclosures, and implement any legally required consent and opt-out mechanisms. Google approval is a separate review and is not promised by this policy or the presence of policy pages.

If Google advertising is introduced

Google and other advertising partners may, if their services are enabled, place or read cookies, use web beacons, collect IP addresses or other identifiers, and process information to serve, measure, secure, or personalize advertising. Personalized and non-personalized advertising can involve different purposes and data uses; the label “non-personalized” should not be read as a promise that no information is processed.

Any such implementation must identify the actual providers and relevant purposes before use. Where required, users must receive a meaningful choice before nonessential storage or personal-data processing begins. For applicable Google advertising in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google’s consent requirements, including its certified CMP requirements where applicable, must be met. Our local preference button cannot substitute for that work. A future ad implementation must provide a clear way to revisit and withdraw consent and honor applicable privacy choices.

Purposes, legal grounds, and sharing

Where a law requires a legal ground, responding to a message you send and maintaining essential site security may be based on legitimate interests, subject to the rights and balancing required by that law. Optional storage is based on your choice where consent is required. Processing required by law relies on the relevant legal obligation. These descriptions do not assert that every regional law applies to every visitor or that consent makes every possible use permissible.

We do not publish your private correspondence as a testimonial or guild story without a separate, clear permission. Information may need to be handled by the hosting and email services involved in providing the site and communication, or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with a binding legal requirement, protect security, or establish or defend a legal claim. We aim to limit any such disclosure to what is relevant. There is no open directory of user profiles or public comment system in the launch site.

International handling and security

The operator is based in China, and website delivery and email services may involve infrastructure or processing in other countries. Sending email to the operator may therefore involve international handling. The location and safeguards of a particular provider depend on that provider and the configured service; we do not claim a specific contractual transfer mechanism that has not been established.

Keeping generation local reduces the information the application needs to receive. It does not make your browser, email, or internet connection immune to risk. Use a device and mailbox you trust, keep software updated, and avoid sending secrets. If we discover an incident affecting personal information under our control, we will assess it and make any notifications required by applicable law.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to particular processing, obtain a portable copy where relevant, withdraw consent, or complain to a competent privacy authority. Some laws also provide rights relating to sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or appeals. We do not currently conduct the advertising activities described above, but will assess a request on its actual facts.

Email scharrarmindo@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and explain which information or interaction is involved. You do not need an account to contact us. We may request limited verification appropriate to the request and will explain if information is not held, cannot be identified, or must be retained. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not treat a good-faith request as a reason to deny ordinary access to the generator. For browser-only records, removal through your browser is usually the direct route because we do not have remote access to your device.

Children, external links, and browser signals

The site is a general-audience creative resource and is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not ask a child to create an account or submit a profile. If you believe a child has sent personal information by email, contact us with enough context to locate it so we can consider deletion and any other required action. A parent or guardian should not send additional sensitive information unnecessarily.

Links to game services, references, or Google policy pages take you to independent websites with their own practices. Following a link can disclose ordinary request information to that destination. Browser signals and privacy settings do not need to disable advertising tracking here because no such tracking is active at launch. Before introducing any relevant tracking, we must assess applicable requirements for signals such as Global Privacy Control and provide the controls required by law.

Updates and official references

We will revise this policy when the site’s relevant practices change and update the effective date. A material new data use must be explained before it begins, with fresh consent where required. The English and Japanese editions are intended to describe the same practices; please report an ambiguity so we can clarify it. This text describes the service and does not guarantee universal legal compliance.

Shape your guild name

A little control over your space.

The naming engine runs on your device. Optional favorites and your language preference can be kept in this browser. No advertising or analytics scripts are active. This panel controls local site storage; it is not an advertising consent platform.
