Game naming studios
Name the community behind the game. Each studio starts with a different play context and includes a practical test for your shortlist.
01 / GuildWorld of Warcraft
Build a guild identity that works for raid nights, dungeon groups, and the people who stay after the last pull.
02 / Free CompanyFinal Fantasy XIV
Give your Free Company a name with room for shared adventures, crafting, housing, and a good evening together.
03 / GuildGuild Wars 2
Find a recognizable guild name for WvW coordination, PvE adventures, or a community that crosses both.
04 / GuildThe Elder Scrolls Online
Shape a guild name around a fellowship, a trading identity, or the beginning of a shared roleplaying story.
05 / Guild & allianceAlbion Online
Name a guild or alliance with a clear shared image and an identity that can survive a change of strategy.
06 / ClanDestiny 2
Create a clan name with a strong emblem, a usable tag, and a mission your fireteam can make its own.
07 / Server communityMinecraft
Find a name for a building collective, a survival group, or a server community with a place to call home.
08 / TeamVALORANT
Develop a team identity that is easy to say, clear on a scoreboard, and larger than a single match.
Start with your group, then the game.
A publisher’s setting can inspire a name without defining your whole identity. The game presets change the initial theme, community type, personality, and play focus. All remain editable, so a raiding clan can sound welcoming and a building community can sound adventurous. Names, tags, and policies must still be checked in the current game client.
